Hey hey heyyy! I’m so glad you are here. Thanks for stumbling upon my dream blog, MommingForever.

This blog is about life. My life. My families life.
It’s about how I navigate life as a happily married Mom of 3, one of them being Autistic with a splash of intellectual disability disorder, and all that comes with it. From giving tips on advocating fiercely, sensory needs, snacks and cocktailing, getting involved in the community, vacationing, organizing and just trying to stay afloat more often then not. I hope to show you how our family lives with being a special needs family. And how it’s impacted us and changed the trajectory of our lives. I invite you to see into our real. Our raw. Our good. Our ugly. Our ugly ugly. I invite you into our wild world and follow us as we navigate life as a special needs family🤎

But first……. Let me share some things with you…

Hey there! My name is Sadie. I don’t really know where to start honestly. I’m super excited to be here. I’m not super sure what all this blog will be. I know it will be all about my life. I know it will be very therapeutic for me. And I hope it helps even just one family out there. I’m a wife. I am Someone who loves to host and entertain. Someone who loves to bake. Someone who loves champagne. Someone who loves to read. Someone who loves yoga and sound baths. Someone who loves giving. Someone who cusses a smidge too much. Someone who has too many tattoos to count. Someone who craves the sun and the water. Someone who tends to cry when I’m too passionate. Someone who does life just super extra 99 percent of the time. And most importantly, I’m a Mother. A Mother to 3 beautiful humans. I’m a full time caregiver and mom to my forever child, my youngest. That last one is what brought me to this very spot in life, HERE.
Let me introduce my reasons for living below.

Amaya Rain- age 16

My first born. My best friend. My pride and joy. Amaya is an old soul, and a very beautiful one. She volunteers. She’s motivated and driven. She has a job. She’s a gym rat. She’s caring and damn funny. She’s the mom of her friend group. She loves the beach just like her Mom. She loves to hike and explore. She loves to babysit. She lovesssss little kids. She’s addicted to Dutch bros and chipotle, along with target and beauty everything. She loves her siblings with her whole heart. And her siblings love her fiercely. She’s a junior in high school. My mom heart is already breaking as we discuss plans for college and her future outside of our home. She’s choosing to not really be featured in my blog- and I’m going to respect her wishes 🤎

Miles Austin- age 8

My favorite boy. My Sonshine. He loves science and animals 🐅🐉🐦‍🔥(he added those emojis of his favorite creatures). He loves riding his bike and playing with his friends. He loves his family with his entire being. He’s a Cub Scout🐻. He’s a silly trickster. He is one of the most empathetic humans I have ever met. He is Elle’s protector and number one cheer leader. He’s a picky eater. A candy fanatic. And Amayas best friend.

Elliott Patrice- age 6

This girl. Our forever baby. She’s silly. She’s funny. She loveeesssss her family. Is majorly obsessed with her Mama. She loves yogurt, Oreos, ice cream, and legos. She loves to play run run and race Mario cart on the Nintendo switch. She loves to jump on her trampoline and ride her bike. She loves to wear her princess peach dress as much as possible. She has epilepsy. She has brain tumors and a dormant hippocampus. She has Autism. She has Intellectual Disability Disorder. She has shown us all how to love in a different capacity. She has taught us all so much about this world. . She is the inspiration for this blog. .

Blake Thomas- My Husband

My teammate. He’s put up with being married to me for 10 years. He’s a special kind of man. He’s the provider. He’s the best father. He’s a romantic. He brings his girls flowers for no reason. He works harder than anyone I know. He’s driven to succeed. He’s like a real life google for random facts. He’s seen basically every movie ever made. He loves a family day. He loves an evening filled with great friends, board games, and great food. He supports all of my wild ideas and passions without blinking an eye. He’s forever my favorite.

What you’ll find on this site…

You’ll find my recent blogs. Things will be ever evolving depending on the season of life we are in. For example, we are currently navigating the school system for our youngest, so I’m thinking I’ll be pretty heavy on stuff surrounding that. It’s getting close to summer break, so I’ll be sharing our journey on how we survive that period of time. I’m also building a great spot with Amazon affiliated links on here to house all of the products that make our life easier-some we can’t live without- from the lunch boxes we use to the chewy necklaces that Elle literally cannot leave the house without to her indoor rock climbing wall.
